Now is the Time
Today I was reading "Now is the Time- 170 Ways to Seize the Moment" by Patrick Lindsay. I enjoy inspirational books like these. Here are some things in the book that particularly struck a chord with me:
Now is the Time...To Be Curious
Knowledge won't find us, we must find it.
Everyday is a chance to learn something new.
Cast your net wide,
Open your mind to the excitement of learning.
When we stop learning, we stop living
Now is the Time...To Embrace the Twilight
It is a glorious time of the day.
When the colors soften and meld into one another
Look at the beauty of the light on a loved one's face
Thrill to the warmth it brings to nature
Marvel at the way it highlights skylines and buildings
Allow the beauty to transport you.
Now is the Time...To Value Wisdom
Don't underestimate the value of knowledge, yours or others
Seek out those who've been there.
Ask them what they've learned.
Listen to them.
Distill their wisdom.
Apply it to your journey.

Beauty surrounds us

Hello Kitty Hospital...too cute!
Metal Yoga?
I found tippr deal for a month of unlimited yoga for $45. Not a bad price to pay considering the have different types of yoga- including power vinyasa and metal yoga. I've never done metal yoga before. Apparently, heavy metal music and weights are added to yoga practice. Sounds interesting. I'm excited to up my yoga to the next level and try this!
